My new Totem Scarz series
// March 29th, 2011 // No Comments » // Art Shows
Finally got a nice professionally snapped photo of my latest inspiration which is a fusion between Native American totem poles and Maya stela stone carvings. I give it a 21st century twist and affectionately call these new creations my “Totem Scarz” series.
This first iteration is 24″x12″ and I am currently completing a larger 36″x20″ version for a book being published by an LA gallery here soon.
I love experimenting, and can flip this all day long. I will continue pushing as next I will paint up 2 and 3 color versions of this in a more spontaneous manner.

Two stacked heads. Sketched on the back of Christmas wrapping paper. Ha. First stab at getting the ideas in my head to leak out onto paper. Enjoy!
